Yesterday, I found a baby bird (fledgeling) on the ground - actually my cat found it - so I picked it up and brought it inside. Lenon brought over some meal worms to feed it, which I did several times. This morning I started looking online how to care for it. It seems that I "kidnapped" the baby - they are supposed to hop around on the ground for several days or even a week or so learning how to forage for themselves. Anyway, long story short, here is the article I found which made a lot of sense for those of you who may in the future find yourself in the same situation. It is safe and sound in a makeshift nest nailed up high in the tree. Momma, come feed your baby! items to wear of the party
